Matthew Morse
Matthew Morse is a Research Analyst for FairVote working on projects that include Instant Runoff Voting (IRV) and Presidential Elections Reform. Matthew holds masters degrees in Public Administration and International Relations from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School and graduated from Vassar College.

Matthew has dealt with elections issues for several years with a focus on IRV, for which he has conducted research trips throughout the US (including NY and CA) and to Australia for their 2007 Federal Election. He has published work and continues to research the impact of ranked choice systems on third party candidates. Matthew has also concentrated in Russian language and area studies, national security/counter-terrorism, including the nexus of democracy/voting reform issues and security issues.

Matthew was born in Florida and has just moved to Washington, DC after several years of residence in NY.
