Andrew Kirshenbaum is a recent graduate of
Skidmore College located in Saratoga Springs, New York with a
degree in Government. Andrew
first became intrigued by alternative voting systems when he
studied the Irish Single Transferable Vote (STV) system while
a student abroad in Dublin, Ireland. He
believes strongly that Americans should have the right to
vote. He worked extensively with other students to
actively oppose an attempt by the Saratoga Springs City
Council to remove a voting booth located on the college campus
in an attempt to limit the impact of student voters. Andrew
recently returned from Waterloo, IA where he worked as a field
coordinator on the John Edwards for President Campaign.
