WHAT: Krist Novoselic, former-bassist of the legendary rock band Nirvana and leading political activist, will speak at the Libertarian Party National Convention. The convention theme is �Uniting Voters.�

board member and author of ''Of Grunge and Government Lets Fix This
Broken Democracy,'' is an outspoken proponent of reform like
proportional representation and instant runoff voting (IRV). IRV was
used successfully in San Francisco�s board of supervisors races and is
on the ballot for use in county elections in Pierce County, WA.
Students at Portland State University overwhelmingly approved of IRV
for student elections in 2005.
Novoselic will be available to comment on national and local election reform issues.
