Felons: The State of Nevada prohibits felons currently on probation, in prison, or on parole from voting. In addition, any former felon with repeat convictions, or a first-time violent felon will be prohibited from voting beyond the completion of their sentence. First-time non-violent felons have their right to vote automatically restored upon the completion of their sentence.
ID Laws: First-time voters who register by mail and do not provide ID verification with registration application need a current and valid photo identification of the person; or a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, or document issued by a governmental entity, including, without limitation, a check, which indicates the name and address of the person.
