Monopoly Politics Minnesota 2000

8 seats: 2R, 6D     D 52

Incumbents went 8 for 8 in 1998, with Reform Party candidate Jesse Ventura's gubernatorial win having marginal impact on U.S. House races and Democrats maintaining a disproportionate share of seats. Only the seats held by Vento and Sabo are fundamentally safe, but Ramstad, Peterson and Oberstar are very strong incumbents. The remaining three seats could be competitive in 2000.
