Monopoly Politics Alabama 2000

7 seats: 5R, 2D

Between 1992 and 1996, the projected percentage for Democratic candidates fell in every U.S. House district, which contributed to Republicans picking up two open House seats in 1996. Democrat Bud Cramer had a surprisingly easy win in 1998, given his Republican-leaning district, and has drawn no Republican opposition in 2000. Three other incumbents are uncontested, and the remaining three incumbents should have little trouble.
