Georgia: HB 917
Sponsor: Representative Oliver
This bill creates the Office of State Election Administration and a chief election officer to replace the State Board of Elections and the Secretary of State in election integrity issues. This bill also provides for more compensation to election observers.
Status: Held in House after 2nd reading.

Iowa: SF 2355
Sponsor: State Government Committee
This bill permits citizens of Iowa to leave work for up to four hours of unpaid leave in order to participate in the presidential caucus. An employer may be fined if they don't permit their workers to take time off to vote on Election Day.
Status: Held in State Government Committee.

New Jersey: A1864
Sponsor: Assembly Member Conaway
This bill prohibits municipalities from requiring permits in order to prevent citizens from registering to vote or having a political party hold a voter registration drive on public property.
Status: Held in Assembly Housing and Local Government Committee.

New York: A01552
Sponsor: Representative Brodsky
This bill allows for the exclusion of voter registration information when someone is up for selection for jury duty. The commissioner of jurors will select prospective jurors at random and will not base their decisions on the eligibility of a citizen to vote.

This bill makes public buildings including public libraries, local housing authorities, and public high schools places for citizens to become registered voters.

Washington:  HB 1363
Sponsor: Representative Miloscia
This bill requires state agencies to provide voter registration information and requires state agencies to maintain requirements set forth by the State Board of Elections.
Status: Held in State Government & Tribal Affairs Committee.
