Monopoly Politics Oklahoma 2000

6 seats: 6R     R 59

Projected partisan performance was flat in 1996 in all Oklahoma House districts – which was bad news for Democrats, as since 1992 the delegation has become all- Republican in Republican-leaning districts. Democrats held four of six seats after the 1992 election, but in 2000 will be hard-pressed to regain any representation despite winning at least 32% in every district in 1998. Tom Coburn's open seat provides their best chance.
