17-year-old Primary Voting

Maryland: SB 201

This bill amends the Maryland Constitution to allow voters who will be 18-years-old on or before the general election to vote in the corresponding primary election.
Status: Passed the Senate (46-0) on February 28, 2008 and House of Delegates (139-1) on March 31, 2008 in different forms. Held in conference committee.

New Hampshire: SB 436

This bill permits voters who will be at least 18-years-old on or before the general election to vote in the preceding state or presidential primary election.
Status: Held in Election Law and Internal Affairs Committee

New Jersey: ACR127
Sponsor: Assembly Member Munoz
This bill permits voters who will be at least 18-years-old on or before the general election to vote in the preceding state or presidential primary election.
Status: Held in the Assembly State Government Committee
