In the fall of 2003, a remarkable coalition of pro-democracy organizations signed onto a call-to-action for the "Claim Democracy" conference on November 22-23, 2003.

We would like to see a wide range of individuals sign on to a similar call-to-action to claim democracy, starting in 2003  but continuing into
the future.  Please read the Claim Democracy Resolution and consider endorsing it.  We ask that you include your name, state and city as a way of indicating to the public the broad appeal and interest in the initiative.  We would also ask that you provide your email addresses to verify your endorsement.  All information will remain confidential (see privacy policy below).  If you would like to receive more information, including press releases or email updates, please check the appropriate box.  Also, we would love to hear any suggestions you may have for the initiative, especially any efforts that you or your organization are involved in.  Finally, we ask that signers show their commitment to this initiative by making a donation of at least $10.
