After completing a BA in English at Cambridge University (Great Britain), Maggie moved to Japan to teach English as a foreign language.  While there, she became interested in comparative electoral systems.  

Maggie came to Washington and joined FairVote as a Program Associate on the Full Representation program in September 2004.
